De neiging tot ontwerpen is bij deze rationalisten het grootst van iedereen. Hun interesse gaat voornamelijk uit naar structuur, bouw en configuratie, niet in de laatste plaats in ruimtelijke zin.
Naarmate ze meer bouwen groeit ook bij deze mensen de behoefte om anderen te informeren. Tegelijkertijd neemt de behoefte af, als ze die al hadden, om anderen te instrueren. Alleen als ze ertoe gedwongen worden nemen ze leiding op zich. Die rol verlaten ze daarna weer zo snel mogelijk.
Ze nemen hun wereld slechts waar in termen van ontwerp en herontwerp. Dit kan wel eens arrogant overkomen.
Het zijn bedachtzame mensen deze 'architecten'. Vaak in gedachten verzonken, ze maken daardoor soms een afwezige indruk. Sommigen zijn geneigd de woorden van anderen te verbeteren, deze mensen zijn goed in grammatica en talen.
Ze zijn meestal vriendelijk en meegaand maar als hun principes aangetast worden zijn ze vaak zo stug als wat. Regelmatig zijn ze bezorgd dat ze iets over het hoofd hebben gezien bij hun ontwerpen en kunnen eindeloos piekeren. Wiskunde of computersystemen, of in potentie elk complex systeem, is het speelterrein van deze mensen. Bij bordspellen gaat hun voorkeur ook uit naar de (strategische) denk- en bouwspellen. Ze houden niet van grote gezelschappen & veel sociale verplichtingen, eerder objectief.
